Christine, initially resistant to the idea of having a bodyguard, attempted to drive me away. Her father, however, intervened, and I found myself thrust into the unfamiliar role of protecting a seemingly reluctant charge. On my first day as her bodyguard, she went to great lengths, offering me a staggering one million dollars to dissuade me from the job. Money, however, wasn’t my motivation for being there, and I staunchly refused the tempting offer.
