Kopi, a fifteen-year-old boy with a mop of unruly brown hair and eyes that mirrored the troubled skies above, had always dreamt of becoming an Awakener. In this post-apocalyptic world, Awakeners were the protectors, the ones who wielded unique “Gifts” to combat the ceaseless waves of creatures that emerged from the Dimensional Gates.
